I'm Eric Hebert and I founded WiRED AVS in 2005. I’m not only the founder but I'm usually the guy pulling your wires, hanging your TVs, painting your speakers, helping the kids with homework and sometimes invading your table while programming your Dream Home. I am very thankful to have been in the home audio video business for over 20 years. In those years of servicing Acadiana, I have met some amazing families and have had to work on poorly designed and executed audio video systems. I've witnessed everything from messy mis-managed wiring, a lack of wires for future expansion and substandard installation practices. With these systems, it never fails that upon a site consult, the homeowner is fumbling with remotes when trying to get their system to simply turn on the TV. When a system design is not executed correctly it forces the user to cope with what they can. It’s very frustrating to see the graveyard of remotes on the table that are needed just to watch TV. We chose Wired after meeting with several companies offering home automation installation and discussed our desires for the construction of our forever home.
